Frozen Synapse is not only one of the most original PC titles this year, but one of the best. You'll find it easy to pick up but impossible to put down. Thanks to its turn-based style you don't have to dedicate hours and hours of solid play, but instead can take the game at your own pace whilst doing other things. Although the multiplayer is certainly the main focus here, the game does feature a fairly solid singleplayer campaign which helps familiarise yourself with the game's various techniques. Overall Frozen Synapse is a title which should be a part of every PC gamer's library. Buy it, now!
