Just a quick news update on the current status of the site. So far things have been going extremely well and I'm sure everyones happy with how far we've come since launch with some of our exclusive interviews and what not. First off, as many of you may have noticed Strite has been absent for a short period of time now. This is due to being without the internet until an unknown date, hopefully not too long! The site will still run as normal, with regular news updates etc - no need to worry.
As a result of this the Ventrilo server also had to be shut down. However today, courtesy of Guv, we've got a new Vent server online. You can find the details either on the right hand side of the site, or in the forums - make sure you update your Ventrilo server settings to reflect this!
Game-Pad will be headed to Eurogamer Expo this year as official press, on both the 30th and 31st. We hope to get some footage and photos from the event, but also publish multiple articles about our impressions on the games at the show. If you're heading to the show make sure you stop by and hang out with us! To go along with this we will be opening up the ability to purchase a Game-Pad T-Shirt tonight. Not only that but we will be offering the ability for people to put their Gamertag on the shirt's back at no extra cost, if requested!
Tonight we will also be publishing the long awaited community interview with Sidhe Games, so make sure you look out for that. In the near future we plan to send out a large round of interview requests and more to retail game developers, in the hope of getting even more exclusive content for you guys to read! Expect to see more Video Impressions of some PC titles also, however we are always looking for members who are willing, and have the ability, to do video reviews for console games - if you're interested, get in touch! Finally with the slew of big titles hitting this holiday season we plan on running more community events and competitions, *ahem* MW2 *ahem*.
