Some of you may have been wondering what happened earlier to G-P when you were greeted with the message "Exceeded Bandwidth Limit" earlier today.
Call of Duty happened - thanks to Michael's Black Ops Review our hits skyrocketed beyond any of our expectations. This caused our bandwidth limit to go beyond the limit paid for, meaning the site was blocked for around an hour. We've since upgraded the hosting package to one with unlimited bandwidth, so this shouldn't happen again. I can confirm at midnight we had 15,195 unique visits to G-P - eclipsing any previous records we've had.
At the weekend I'll be writing up my impressions on the game to give a second opinion, something I feel is quite important for the biggest gaming title of 2010. On Sunday Michael's hosting a Community Game Night - we ask everyone to join in and jump on Black Ops for lots of laughs and just an all around awesome night.
