Hello fellow Game-Padders,

Game-Pad was launched in June 2009, since then the site has continued to grow and evolve. Our members have contributed in many ways and we've established a small yet active community with many people visiting the site on a daily basis. We've strived to bring upto date gaming news to the community regularly, as well as game reviews and even some interviews with well known developers such as Funcom, NinjaBee and Introversion Software to name a few.

Just about all of our members have contributed at some point in one way or another, whether it's been by publishing a review or posting on the forum, it doesn't matter how you contribute, all that matters is that you do. With that said, some members really deserve a mention for going 'above and beyond'.

So, i'd like to extend my thanks to the following Game-Pad members for their devotion to this site, you have my eternal gratitude for the work and effort you have put in.

Michael Menzel (Menzeldinho) - For your constant dedication, you've put a ton of effort into writing reviews and publishing news on a daily basis.
Pete Hawkins (The Guv'nor) - Game-Pad wouldn't be the same without you mate, your banter and sense of humour is priceless and as with Menz your dedication is beyond words, so ROCK ON!
Lindsay Cox (Coxlin) - You've written some smashing reviews mate and your effort is greatly appreciated.
Charles Tyldsley (Lucifonz) - Chaz is obviously G-P's co-founder so you could say the effort he puts in should be expected of him, but still, you've put more time and effort into this site than any of us bud and after the last site you dedicated so much to folded (Your-Gaming) it must've been hard to devote yourself to a new project.

Game-Pad is still here because of you all, every single member makes the site what it is and no, it isn't always perfect, sometimes there are differences of opinion and occassionally (Though rarely I might add) arguments can go a little to far, but the same can be said of every community website on the web, and Game-Pad shines because of the variation in our members' personalities and opinions.

However, this isn't just a 'thankyou' article. The time has come for to step down from my position as Super Admin for Game-Pad, I feel i've contributed all I can to the site and the community. Game-Pad's future is still bright though, my leaving the community will not affect the site in any way, hosting fees will continue to be paid and hopefully the site will continue to grow for a long time to come (I have no real doubt of that with such a cracking community).
It's been an honour, a privelage and a pleasure to be involved with Game-Pad, and i'm very proud to be able to say that the whole thing was my idea I remember Chaz's groans when I first broached the subject of a gaming community with him haha, but after a little persuading we embarked on this journey and it is a journey that i'll hold in my heart for a long long time.
