Atari has announced Test Drive Unlimited 2, which developer Eden Studios is looking to expand beyond the borders of the previous game, pushing the envelope with something they've dubbed M.O.O.R.
The acronym stands for Massively Open Online Racing, meaning that the online world is a persistent one where players can compete or team-up and share content.

Test Drive Unlimited 2's single-player and multiplayer aspects will seamlessly complement one another as according to the press release, TDU2 is "always live," with automatic updates and a narrative mode that's playable in both single and multiplayer.
Eden is also promising realistic vehicle performance and dynamics, as well as a damage model, weather effects, a day/night cycle and a completely new island to explore.
Expect a slew of licensed cars and a greater level of customisation too, in addition to buying clothes and hot beachside property like before.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 will be even more unlimited'er it seems and is due for Autumn 2010 - no specific release date as of yet but when we know, you will!
