Crackdown 2 delayed?

E-mail

Both Peter Molyneux and Peter Connelly talked at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival this week. Whilst Molyneux was probably going on about fable yet again and its awesomeness, Connelly came to talk about something else, Crackdown 2. Unfortunately, during his talk he gave several hints that the game has now been delayed until fall (autumn).

During one of Major Nelson's podcasts in January they were talking about how Microsoft are releasing an exclusive every month for the first half of the year mentioning games like Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Alan Wake and Crackdown 2.

Peter unfortunately said during his talk that there is a secret announcement regarding Crackdown 2 that will be unveiled at E3 but this would lead to the game not coming out in the first half of 2010. Due to the fact the game was not playable at X10, the release date is likely to be pretty accurate.
