Resident Evil 6 Announced?

IGN have managed to uncover a leaked logo for Resident Evil 6. The packaging also shows that the game will arrive on the 20th November 2012, for the Xbox 360 and PS3. No details have been revealed yet, however the game is expected to be announced officially at 10pm GMT tonight. Check back here around then for more info!

Update: Resident Evil 6 has been officially revealed. The game will hit on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on November 20th, with the PC version following later. The game will feature both singleplayer and coop gameplay. Hit Read More to see the trailer and plot summary.

"It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President's side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world's population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left."

Looking pretty good! I'm skeptical after 5, but certainly impressed by the trailer. I am a little bit concerned over a cover system, as Resi Evil hasn't exactly been known for it's gun wielding enemies, although some have thrown things.
