EA have announced a new Sims 3 expansion called Showtime for the PC and Mac. The expansion focuses on your Sim becoming famous, be it as an acrobat, DJ, singer or magician. Showtime also introduces new traits, lifetime wishes, Facebook social additions, a new achievement system, and a brand new area called Starlight Shores.
You'll even be able to build your own dream gig venue and, using SimPort, either host your friends' Sims performances in your game, or send your Sims to theirs. Sims 3 Showtime will be released in March 2012.
