LEGO Group have announced that sadly Lego Universe will be shutting down on January 31st, 2012 due to a lack of paying customers. Although the game moved to a F2P model a few months ago it's sadly been unable to bring in enough revenue to continue operating. Unfortunately this also means the 2 studios working on the game will be shut down, meaning 115 employees will be let go. We wish them all the best with their future endeavours. RIP Lego Universe.
