Best PC Game = Dragon Age Origins
Excellent graphics, storyline and Gameplay which you will loose literally hours of your life to. L4D2 is good but nothing special, and Torchlight is good but cannot beat Dragon Age

Best Xbox 360 Game = Halo 3 ODST
One of the few games that actually sticks me like glue to my seat. GTA is good for a laugh and is still very fun (although Lost and Damned is worse than Ballad of Gay Tony) and Forza 3 you have to be in a full on serious mood sometimes if you want to fully enjoy it.

Best PS3 Game = Uncharted 2
Sort of process of elimination here. Infamous was fun but some of the missions got VERY repetitive(restoring power to the city) where as Killzone was just filled with space marine tesosterone

Best Nintendo DS Game = Zelda Spirit Tracks
It is Zelda and it has TRAINS! Enough said

Best PSP Game = GTA Chinatown Wars
Probably the most fun you will have on PSP with the original GTA style gameplay. LBP is fun for quick bursts, but will never live up to its bigger brother and Pxieljunk is JUST ANOTHER TOWER DEFENSE GAME

Best RPG = Dragon Age Origins
It is the essence of a "true" RPG. You are gripped by the story and you will loose months if not years of your life playing through all the quests. Demon Souls is far to difficult (frustratingly difficult) and Scared 2 I felt had a lack of involvement.

Best Shooter - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
I usually have a go saying it is nothing new, but that is why it is so good.

Best Adventure = The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition
(should be SHADED VENTURE!!!!!!!! If i ever get round to finishing it...)

Best Puzzler = Professor Layton Pandoras Box
Story + lots of puzzles = win

Best RTS = Halo Wars
Purely for multiplayers sake as it is the most fun me Lucifonz and Steve have. Its intuitive control system make it very playable.

Best Action-Adventure = Batman Arkham Asylum
One of the few games this year that had very few bugs and had amazing, graphics, combat and story.

Best Casual Game = Peggle & Peggle Nights (XBLA/PSN)
ITS PEGGLE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

Best MMO = Aion
I find it very hard to get into MMOs and it is the only one I have actually "gotten into" since FFXI

Best Indie = Torchlight
Essentially an epic RPG for pocket money prices. You cant really go wrong

Best Singleplayer = Batman Arkham Asylum
See above, but also the shear amount of extras including all the Riddlers clues, etc

Best Multiplayer = Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Repetitive and annoying at times (especially when you play the same game mode all the time), but all the same, the fun overrides this and it still makes you want to go back and play it.

Best New IP = Dragon Age Origins
See above, plus it has introduced a huge LOTR style world

Best Use of Achievements/Trophies = Assassins Creed 2's UPlay

Hardest Achievement/Trophy = 'Achieve weekly honor rank 4' - Killzone 2

Best Remake = The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition
If you played the original, I shouldn't have to explain this one. If you haven't shame on you!

Best Add-On = GTA The Ballad of Gay Tony
Much funnier than Lost and Damned with better characters you can relate unless you are a struggling immigrant who is doing odd murdering jobs on the side

Biggest Disappointment = Killzone 2
Generic shooter, space marine testosterone

Biggest Surprise = Borderlands
Event hough I will be shouted at for this, I see it as a better version of Fallout 3 and the 4 player co-op adds that extra something

Biggest Game-Pad Breaker (Difficult) = Professor Layton Pandoras Box
The first game bamboozled me. This does the same!

Best Original Feature = Scribblenauts ability to spawn almost anything,
How many devils was it again?

Best Official Soundtrack = Halo ODST
Halo Soundtracks are always epic

Best Villain = Joker (Batman Arkham Asylum)
There are much better ones, but as you put three randomers including MAKAROV (WTF you hear from him about once and *SPOILERS* he is just a tool!) Joker is the logical choice and is also very funny in a sadistic kind of way

Best Hero = Nathan Drake (Uncharted 2)
It is all about the witty one liners.

Best Storyline = Assassins Creed 2
I don't want to spoil it it is so good

Most Anticipated of 2010 = NONE OF THESE!!!!!
Sorry God of War 3, All Points Bulletin, Mafia 2?! Think I have about one of these on preorder. What about FFXIII, Splinter Cell, Bioshock 2, mass Effect 2 and Brink to say the least?!

Biggest Reveal = Final Fantasy 14
They literally just whipped that out of the bag, noone was expecting it, I just really hope it does much better than FFXI

Most Shocking Video Game Moment *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* = Modern Warfare 2 - 'The death of Ghost'
Seriously, Ghost DIES! You want to jump into the TV and pull him out of the flames

Best Value for Money = Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
GOW Collection is good, but if you already have your old discs, just use them, Ballad of Gay Tony is just one expansion pack and the amount of multiplayer that is included in MW2 is insane (although I would hardly call it value for money considering it cost £45)

Best Downloadable Only Game = Torchlight
Cheap, epic RPG

2009's 2008 Game of the Year = Little Big Planet

Overall GOTY = Batman Arkham Asylum

Most anticipated was just personal feelings, and of course I think it goes without saying almost all of us are excited about all the big games coming, its almost impossible to choose 3. I mean look at the lineup for this year, there is an insaaaneee amount of games coming, and thats pretty much only the first half! APB Strites been really looking forward to for a long long time. And Mafia 2 I have a gut feeling is going to be a seriously seriously good singleplayer game, therefore I felt it deserved more acknowledgment which is what made it the one I chose.

Also I added the ability for comments to be of infinite length, meaning yours is rather epic rather than being cut off ;) Gj posting your opinions on every award, exactly what I hope more people do, good read!

Your thoughts are appreciated :)

As Chaz pointed out, our most anticipated are obviously our personal choices, Guv chose God of War 3 being a big PS3 player and huge GoW fan, Chaz chose Mafia 2, I know he's had his eye on it for awhile, and I chose APB because it's one of my most anticipated online games ever.

Games such as Bioshock (Which i'm not interested in personally, didn't finish the first) Mass Effect 2 and FFXIII we know are going to be huge and we're not denying that, but personally i'm not that excited about any of those three (Mass Effect 2 still not finished the first and FFXIII I know it'll be awesome but will probs never play again after i've finished it).

Final Fantasy XIII is probably my most anticipated single player title, APB being my most anticipated title of this year closely followed by Final Fantasy XIV.
