EA have extended its agreement with NFL until 2013 to have sole rights over making NFL video games. There was hope that a competitor would come onto the market by 2012 but EA extending the deal have ruled that out for the near future. Also NFL have charged EA less royalties for next years game after threats there may not even be an NFL league next season.
