The PSP has been suffering lately, not because it is a bad console, but because sony are rubbish at marketing, etc. Anyway despite this, legitemate games that may be worth getting include Persona. This isn't out in the UK yet, but if you spend hours upon hours on trains or wanna crawl into bed early and get the PSP out, this game is worth it. Some fo the controls are a bit odd, but the classic RPG gameplay is there along with some decent revamped music and cutscenes.

Dissidia is also a must have. If you don't like fighting games then you may want to leave this one, however if you liked Kingdom Hearts then this is worth it. It is essentially a sequence of Kingdom Hearts style battles with a grid and levelling up system (along with some very pretty graphics). The game plays well, the controls being very user friendly. I found that once the game has it's teeth in, it aint removing them. It is addicitng as hell!

Finally the new Star Wars Battlefront game Elite Squadron also looks like it is worth spending some money on (not from the store however). With the ability to jump in an x wing on the ground and fly directly into space for an epic space battle, then fly down and get your lightsaber out for some power stortrooper killing, what else can you want?

Traded my PSP in and bought a DSi, not looked back since. Never really enjoyed sitting down and playing the PSP, found it bulky and cumbersome. Just me personally ofc.

Best of both worlds!

Without CFW I honestly think the PSP sucks though. Pixeljunk is the best thing thats come to it in a long time, its a game ill actually pick up and play every so often. Its a waste of time slapping games which clearly should be on a console, onto the handheld, as you just dont sit down and play them. Games like Scribblenauts on the DS are fantastic for just playing for a few minutes or so - its what handheld gaming is all about.

But a PSP with CFW having Sega and SNES Emulators, all PS1 games, SCUMMVM for monkey island etc = total win. Its the sole reason I still have the machine, believe me I've been tempted to sell it many times but CFW prevails.
