if i order Halo Reach from play.com whats the likely hood i will get the game on the day it actually comes out?

I've only ever really had bad experiences from play, hate them and try to avoid using them unless necessary. But I do know others who have had better experiences.

Out of wonder why do you want to order it from Play? Just did a quick scan and Amazon, Gameplay, HMV are all that same price with the helmet, but i'm sure theres other places.

Think i'm going to do midnight launch, not certain yet though. Hoping a supermarket will be selling it at a good price.

always use play.com

will the helmet be avaibale in the game? like will you be able to unlock it or is it you'll only get it because you pre-odered it?

Believe its a preorder only thing which sucks abit, but i'm not too fussed aslong as I get the game ontime! How've play been in the past with your preorders? If you usually get them on time then I imagine you'll be okay. I think alot of it is down to location, further down south is closer to them so seems faster.

chaz if you have a 24 hour tesco buy you they often give away free 800msp with midnight launches. i got 800 msp with red dead and also they had a token in the sun paper which got me another 800 msp. just saying keep your eyes out,

i've pre-ordered from hmv for £34.19 (including discount), free delivery, pre-order helmet bonus, 800MSP free and lots of hmv pure points

We had the REACH discussion in shoutbox yesterday. I am, if i end up getting it, gonna get it from a supermarket. I have inside info that my local Tesco is selling it for £34.98 on release. But as they find out other supermarket prices they all start competing and watch the price fall. Is great for us gamers.
It will b like the whole MW2 price war between them. It ended up £25 in tesco and morissons. So, yea, supermarket ftw.
Also I hear tesco giving msp away on launch
